Dr. Trisha Duru, DNP, FNP-C, is the founder and CEO of Priority Health and Wellness, where she combines her passion for patient-centered care with clinical excellence. As a first-generation Nigerian American and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 18 years of experience in emergency care, family medicine, veteran services, surgical, urgent care, and aesthetic medicine, Dr. Duru warmly welcomes both in-person and virtual patients. She believes that collaboration is key to achieving the best possible healthcare outcomes.
Known by her peers as “That Girl,” Dr. Duru is dedicated to helping clients feel confident in their health and appearance. She is certified in medical aesthetics, including medical weight loss, Botox, fillers, RF microneedling, facials, laser hair removal, and more.
A Doctor of Nursing Practice graduate from Duke University, Dr. Duru is also a dedicated mentor to future healthcare professionals and regularly speaks to youth about career development and wellness. She co-founded the JoeTrish Foundation, which supports underserved communities in the U.S. and Nigeria through education sponsorships, medical outreach, clean water projects, and annual toy drives.
Whether she’s treating patients, mentoring students, or giving back through charity, Dr. Duru’s mission is simple: to help people feel healthy, empowered, and confident from the inside out.
